“Serenity” The rising sun separates the morning mist while a great white egret peers into its reflections and waits for his breakfast to swim by. This painting was inspired by an egret that has taken up residence under our culvert at the end of our driveway and the recent flood in Harrow that surrounded our willow tree. I just threw in a few grasses that I had in my flowerpots to make it look like a marsh. And, Bingo, this painting was born.
