“Dahlia” is an impressionistic flora painting of a huge blossom and it’s offspring painted in loose but deliberate strokes. The effect of the thickly layered paint against softly applied thin layers causes a sense of drama which is further emphasized by the dark contrasting background. (24x18 oil on canvas)
