“Meadow One” is the first painting in a new series of Meadow Scenes. Vibrantly colored wildflowers float over a black background in a “Chiaroscuro” style.  Upon a closer look at this painting, live, the viewer will notice that the dominant black areas are glazed with a very  transparent layer of red,  giving it an enhanced character and presence.  Small and pretty, it sits nicely on a table or shelf as well as a small wall or grouped with the rest of it’s mates.  It looks great framed or unframed as well and suits most environments and wall colors.
