"Kathy's Bouquet" was inspired by the floral works of Nikolai Blokhin and magenta is one of my favorite colors. Therefore, it HAD to be painted! Combinations of brushes, knives and rags were used to create a variety of hard and soft shapes which give the final impression of flowers in a clear sun-lit vase.
