“Red Pepper on Marble” I grew this pepper from seed and photographed it at it’s freshest. It was then painted with the long process of “grisaille” (traditionally, grey and white marble dust paint). Later, layers of colorful oil glazes were applied to the top. The result is this “Chiaroscuro” (light and dark) style oil painting.
